AB InBev UK launches Bar Expert
– New website includes practical advice for on-trade customers –
31st August, 2012, London – AB InBev UK has launched a new dedicated website for on-trade customers www.bar-expert.co.uk. The Bar Expert website is an online resource centre containing practical advice on how to grow and develop as a business, including information on a wide range of topics, from facts on beer and practical hints and tips, to recommended beer and food combinations.
Chapters available online include:
- Beer – an expert guide to understanding and appreciating beer
- Our brands – product information, facts and figures and latest news
- Quality – how to serve the perfect pint including trouble shooting and technical support
- Food pairing – how to complement the right food with the right beer
- Tools – hints and tips, checklists and action plans to help on-trade customers grow their business
- Hotspots – links to some of the finest pubs, restaurants and clubs in the UK and abroad
With interactive and informative material available, the website aims to enable on-trade outlets to better understand their customers and to realise where opportunities lie to increase customer loyalty and satisfaction. For example, research from the BBPA has shown that having knowledge on the right handling and serving of beer can increase sales by 3%.
